Canadian independent film distributor, Mongrel Media, launched the 5th Annual Mongrel House at TIFF, a multi-day celebration honouring nine of their films premiering at TIFF and 25 years of curating some of the most innovative and distinctive films of our times. Taking place from Thursday, September 5, to Sunday, September 8, at the historic Campbell House Museum in downtown Toronto, the four-day silver anniversary celebration will honoured the best of local and global cinema at the festival.
Fridays party was hosted by Mongrel Media, Sony Pictures Classics, and the Italian Trade Commission, the evening featured a Cineplex photo studio, a pasta station from Eataly, a butter chicken and samosa booth from Butter Chicken Roti, refreshments from FIJI Water, cocktails from CIROC, Tanqueray Gin and Bulleit Bourbon, a Johnnie Walker bar, coffee from Barocco, and sweets from Dunk Restaurants.
Other top event partners included Volvo, The Globe and Mail, Anica, Laura Mercier, World Class Canada, Willendorf, Incredible Printing and Hoame.
